We are looking to expand our team with a Quality Engineer who will be responsible for assuring consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing solid manufacturing and problem-solving practices. This individual will be responsible for working cross functionally to establish, implement, maintain and continually improve our product quality to deliver a positive customer experience.  If you are confident, highly motivated and constantly learning then you are who we are looking for.


  • Establish, administer and effectively maintain quality processes for corrective and preventive action, incoming material control, non-conforming material, control plans, etc.

  • Perform root cause analysis and develop effective countermeasures by utilizing Six Sigma, A3 and/or 8D methodologies.

  • Maintain and continually improve our Quality Management System to uphold compliance to requirements specified by our customers and our business.

  • Address customer issues in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure all quality and procedure related documentation is kept current and controlled.

  • Participate in daily Gemba walks and communicate relevant updates as it pertains to important quality issues and core metrics.

  • Work with our Engineering and Business Development teams to construct suitable qualification plans and assist in validating and approving the results.

  • Support customer requirements for generation of control plans, capability studies, gage R&R’s, FMEA’s, etc. and prepare necessary quality reports as applicable.

  • Assist in new product development activities to avoid future quality issues.

  • Perform audits by establishing audit schedule, reviewing processes, developing audit checklists, and documenting and distributing audit results.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS degree in related field (Engineering, Quality, and/or Manufacturing) or suitable work experience.

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a Quality related role such as a Quality Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineer, Customer Quality Engineer, or Advanced Product Quality Planning.

  • Demonstrated abilities to lead in problem solving/countermeasure events where quality issues are diagnosed, discussed, and resolved.

  • Knowledge of measuring tools, including but not limited to, calipers, micrometers, depth gages, etc.

  • Comprehension of the following quality tools; FMEA, 8D, 5Y, Process Capability Studies, PPAP, and Control Plans.

  • Experience with quality management systems.

  • Ability to be self-directed for most daily activities.

  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and planning skills.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

  • Demonstrated execution at meeting project goals while satisfying quality, performance, schedule, and budgets.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma green/black belt experience and/or ASQ certification a plus.

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 requirements.

  • Assembly experience with circuit boards and electro-mechanical systems.

  • Process and product auditing experience or certification.

  • Experience with statistical software tools such as JMP, Minitab, etc.
